It’s Wild Card Weekend in the NFL!

Some heavy favorites and some, well, wild cards; that’s what this year’s wild card weekend is made of. It’s going to be a good one so without further ado, let’s take a look at all four games that will be determine who moves on to the playoffs.

Cincinnati Bengals at Houston Texans
The Texans showed us what they’re capable of early on in the season, and they’ll bring all of that this game. Cincinnati has been one of the wildest cards of all this season, but they’re still lacking the full depth that Houston so clearly has. While the Texans may not dominate the entire game, they will probably find a few ways to defeat the Bengals.

Minnesota Vikings at Green Bay Packers
Anyone who saw last week’s game between these two knows what the day has in store. Stack up Aaron Rodgers against Christian Ponder and Rodgers clearly emerges as the better play — especially on his own home turf. Along with Ponder, Adrian Peterson will be crucial to the game and will keep it exciting on the part of the Vikings. But there’s too much at stake, and the Packers will find a way to make sure their season doesn’t come to an end.

Indianapolis Colts at Baltimore Ravens
Experience is going to be the game-decider here. Quarterback Andrew Luck has brought it all season, and clearly proven why he’s going to be the one of the best quarterbacks in the league. If this were a regular game, he may be able to find a way to avoid the Ravens’ defense and make his quick, on-point plays. But the Ravens, along with their defense, also have the speed of Ray Rice, inarguably a huge reason for Baltimore’s success this year. That agility, and experience, will give them the game.

Seattle Seahawks at Washington Redskins
This is undoubtedly one of the most anticipated games this weekend; but it likely won’t go as many think. Yes, RG3 is unstoppable and has been the talk of not only the franchise this year, but of the entire league. But this is a wild card game, and that requires more than just an outstanding quarterback. Defense will be the key, and it will also be what sinks Washington’s ship.
