You Will Love Seeing Paramore Live
Formed in 2004 in the town of Franklin, Tennessee, the band Paramore has been on a steady rise to stardom. Current members of the group include Taylor York on guitar, Jeremy Davis on bass, and, of course, Haley Williams as lead vocalist. They are one of the most popular bands making music and touring today, especially with the younger crowd. Williams is one of the better role models out there for kids, particularly young girls. Over the years, they’ve gone through many of the same trials and tribulations as other bands, including several members leaving to form other groups.
When the band was first together, one of the big hindrances they had was their age. The first drummer was just twelve years old, and Haley was only fifteen when they recorded their first album. In fact, she was only fourteen when she signed with Atlantic Records as a solo artist. She was the one who had the deal in place, and she wanted to make sure that she took her hand, Paramore, with her to the top if she could. She made sure that the record executives did not try to mold her into the latest pop princess. Instead, she wanted to make real rock music, and she wanted her and her band to write it.
The record company agreed, but the marketing department though it would be a better idea to help give the band more “cred” if the album came through a different, smaller partner label: Fueled by Ramen. This turned out to be a good move, and it gave the band more freedom to do what it wanted. They’ve released a number of albums to great success. Each successive release feels stronger than the last, and they are growing more and more in popularity. From the debut All We Know is Falling to their latest self-titled release, there is plenty to love about Paramore.
If you or someone you know is a fan of the band, there’s nothing better than seeing them live on stage. Check to see if the band is coming to your area and get your tickets today.
