Bradshaw to Roethlisberger: You Should Have Been Cut

In yet another televised tongue-lashing, former Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Terry Bradshaw informed current (but suspended) Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger that he feels Big Ben should have been cut from the Steelers organization. Again. Anyone following the story knows that Bradshaw hasn’t been shy about his opinion of Roethlisberger. In his most recent on-air chastising, Bradshaw said:

“I don’t know that you’ve proven to the NFL that you’re on the right path, but I hope so. You acted recklessly. You hung out at college bars. You disrespected women.”

On the flip side, however, the Super Bowl winning quarterback also proclaimed himself of questionable moral behavior in the below quote from 2008:

“I lived only for Terry Bradshaw, not for God. I tried to be one of the boys and went to every honky-tonk I could find and chased women and behaved in a way that was totally alien to anything I had ever known before … my whole life was out of control … I was trying to be someone else and was doing a rotten job of it.” (2008)

Surprisingly, players across the NFL – including the Pittsburgh Steelers – have remained quiet about the issue. Commissioner Roger Goddell reduced Roethlisberger’s suspension from six games to four games, meaning that Roethlisberger will take the helm at Heinz Field, on October 17 against the Cleveland Browns.

What do you say? Should Bradshaw get over it already, or do you agree? Tell us what you think!
