Daishon Knight carried the offensive load for Illinois State (8-6, 0-2), totaling 24 points on 10-of-23 shooting.

Stanford, CA (SportsNetwork.com) – Chasson Randle set a Stanford record, forced overtime with a late layup and helped the Cardinal knock off No. 21 Washington 68-60 on Sunday. Randle scored a game-high 24 points on 9-of-21 shooting. His lone 3-point make in seven attempts was the 242nd of his career, good for first in Stanford history. Anthony Brown added 16 points and Stefan Nastic tallied 10 points and 11 rebounds for the Cardinal (10-3, 2-0 Pac-12). Washington scored just four points in overtime. It trailed 66-60 late when Randle intercepted a Mike Anderson pass and took it coast-to-coast for a layup that sealed the win. The Panthers (12-2, 1-1 MVC) got their first Missouri Valley Conference win of the season despite going without a field goal over the last 5 1/2 minutes. It came three days after a loss to Evansville in their league opener, which will likely knock them out of the rankings. Milton Doyle scored 13 points to lead Loyola (11-3, 1-1) and Jay Knuth had 12. The Ramblers had a seven-game winning streak snapped, which included a victory over conference foe Bradley on New Year’s Eve.
