NFL Preview – Week 6

A competition of quarterbacks, a possible (but huge) upset, and a division game all forecast a great weekend in the NFL. Here are the top 3 biggest game that definitely have us ready for some football!
San Francisco vs. Detroit
The 49ers have had a great year, but not as good as the Lions, who remain undefeated. And even though San Francisco is 4-1, don’t let that one loss by the 49ers fool you. It was one that just slipped through their fingers in OT against the Cowboys, putting them just about equal with the Lions. In this clash against unlikely titans, it’s an impossible game to predict and an even harder one to miss.
Philadelphia vs. Washington
This one should be easy, right? Starring quarterback Michael Vick playing for the Eagles, and against Rex Grossman, a QB that no one seems to like — it should be an easy matchup to call. But Philly has not had a good year and surprisingly, the Redskins are 3-1. Add to that the fact that Washington is well-rested after a bye week last week, and this is another one that’s hard to call. The fact that it’s a division game is just icing on the cake.
Dallas vs. New England
It’s the competition of the quarterbacks! Neither the Cowboys nor the Patriots are great defensively speaking and so this one all comes down to Tony Romo and Tom Brady. While Brady might be the poster child for all-star quarterbacks in the NFL, having just that much more experience and talent over Romo, you also can’t count Romo out. He is after all, the guy that came back to play through a rib injury and take the win for his team just a few weeks ago. And let’s not forget that the guy has also thrown nearly 18,000 yards in his career, with a completion percentage of 64.1%, something that Brady can’t say. There’s no way to tell for sure how this matchup will end up. When looking for big games on Sunday, this is the one to watch.
