Zdeno Chara and Reilly Smith each scored once for the Bruins, who received 22 saves from Chad Johnson. Patrick Dwyer tied the game with a short-handed tally at 11:10 of the third, while Andrej Sekera added his fifth of the season for the Hurricanes, who have lost four in a row.
