Denver, CO (SportsNetwork.com) – Matt Duchene scored 2:33 into overtime as the Colorado Avalanche topped the Winnipeg Jets, 3-2, at Pepsi Center. Duchene lost control of the puck after twirling out of the corner. Winnipeg defenseman Tobias Enstrom tried to chip the puck away from the crease area, but it hit Duchene and the Avalanche forward scored on a backhand. Cal Clutterbuck, Matt Martin, Ryan Strome and Calvin de Haan each scored in the final frame for the Islanders, who had dropped four of five coming in.
