Carl Hagelin, Benoit Pouliot, Chris Kreider, Brad Richards and Brian Boyle also scored for the Rangers, who ended a five-game road trip 3-2 and beat the Leafs for the sixth time in their last seven meetings. Joffrey Lupul scored and Jonathan Bernier let in five goals on 32 shots for Toronto, which had a three-game winning streak snapped. Mike Green scored twice while Marcus Johansson also lit the lamp for the Capitals, who tied their season-high with a fourth straight loss.
