Dallas used a 9-0 run and forced six Knicks turnovers to pull away in the extra session. Monta Ellis stripped Samuel Dalembert from behind and fed Chandler for a dunk for a 101-99 lead with 1:37 in overtime. After a Dallas miss a trip down the floor later, Chandler Parsons forced turnover to give the Mavericks an extra possession.
