BeatleShow is an Amazing Tribute to History

Perhaps no musical group ever had a greater impact on the world than the Beatles.  Beginning with a handful of love songs and a following of teenagers, they built up a progressively harder hitting repertoire of music, revolutionizing the sound of rock and roll forever.

One of the trademarks of the nineteen sixties was it was all about having fun.  The Beatles versatility reflected in playful songs like “I am the Walrus” to puzzling jingles and a quickly changing tempo in “Uncle Albert”.  Their humor broadsided audiences with whacked out antics in their movie musicals, “Help” and “Yellow Submarine”.  In the nineteen seventies, they became more brooding, more political, more spiritual, and eventually split so each could develop their own particular messages.

They were infectious.  Their individual styles, their sometimes flippant humor, created broad based appeal.  Though documentaries and imitations have crowded the media in attempts to recapture the spirit of the Beatles, none have done it more effectively than the cast that produces the BeatleShow!

With costumes, hairstyles and looks that remarkably reflect the appearances of these world famous musicians, the BeatleShow faithfully follows the wonderful lyrical qualities that captured the hearts of not just the sixties generation, but their children, and even their grandchildren.  Performing live, with authentic stage reproductions, the show is a wonderful place to take all family members, who will be impressed with the remarkably accurate impersonations of the world’s most beloved rock and roll group.  Although it’s not a very serious looking Ed Sullivan; the efforts look more like those of comedians who try for a Richard Nixon imitation; some personalities just can’t be copied; and Austin Powers is, as always, a very slapstick Austin Powers, it really adds more to the fun.

The Beatles, themselves, will impress you with a performance that brings back the magic of an authentic 1960’s Beatles concert.  More than a documentary, better than a tribute, you are taken in a time machine to an era when psychedelic color, go-go dancers, and music you can dance to and lyrics you can sing were the norm.  If you’re planning a trip to Las Vegas, make your trip memorable.  Catch the BeatleShow at the Saxe Theater.  They will be performing throughout the months of December, January, February and March.  When you go home, you’ll definitely have something to talk about and the kids will enjoy it too!
