West Virginia suspends CB Worley
Morgantown, WV (SportsNetwork.com) – West Virginia cornerback Daryl Worley has been suspended indefinitely for an undisclosed violation of team rules.
Head coach Dana Holgorsen made the announcement on Monday.
Worley, a native of Philadelphia, Pa., has started the first three games for the Mountaineers (2-1) and compiled 17 total tackles with three interceptions.
Junior Ricky Rumph, who has yet to make a start in 21 career games, is listed as Worley’s replacement.
West Virginia opens up its Big 12 slate on Saturday with a home matchup against No. 4 Oklahoma.
