Nashville, TN (SportsNetwork.com) – Dorian Finney-Smith drained a 3-pointer with 30.6 seconds left and the top-ranked Gators secured at least a share of the SEC regular-season title with a 57-54 victory over Vanderbilt on Tuesday at Memorial Gymnasium. Dorian Finney-Smith finished with 19 points and nine rebounds, while Patric Young added 12 points and seven boards to help the Gators (26-2, 15-0 SEC), who continued the best start in program history with their 20th straight win. Rod Odom paced the Commodores (15-12, 7-8) with 12 points, while Dai-Jon Parker added 11 points and six rebounds in the loss, Vanderbilt’s fourth in its last six games.

Peoria, IL (SportsNetwork.com) – Wichita State had already rewritten the school’s record books coming into Tuesday’s game against Bradley. But the Shockers accomplished something even bigger in their lopsided 69-49 drubbing of the Braves, as they became the first Division I program to win its first 30 games of the regular season. The Braves couldn’t overcome the second-ranked Shockers’ balanced scoring attack as Wichita State stayed the only unbeaten team in the country. Ron Baker scored 15 points, Tekele Cotton chipped in with 13 and Cleanthony Early and Fred VanVleet added 12 and 11, respectively, for the victors. Wichita State (30-0, 17-0 MVC) shot 48.9 percent from the floor, including 10-of-21 from behind the arc, and can wrap up a perfect regular season with a home win over Missouri State on Saturday. Walt Lemon, Jr. led the Braves (12-18, 7-10) with 18 points while Tyshon Pickett finished with 13 points and 15 boards in the setback.

Durham, NC (SportsNetwork.com) – Rodney Hood had 21 points, Rasheed Sulaimon scored 15 and No. 6 Duke beat Virginia Tech 66-48 on Tuesday. Jabari Parker added 11 points and 12 rebounds for Duke (23-6, 12-4 ACC), which was coming off Saturday’s win over then-No. 1 Syracuse in another thriller between the new conference rivals that capped a stretch of four games in eight days for the Blue Devils, including a loss to North Carolina. Trevor Thompson scored 15 points to lead Virginia Tech (9-18, 2-13), which fell to 1-13 in its last 14 games after a third straight loss.

Matt Shrigley scored 11 points in the win. Rashad Muhammad and Jaleel Williams scored 14 points each for the Spartans (7-20, 1-14), whose win against Nevada last Tuesday had snapped a 13-game losing streak.

Madison, WI (SportsNetwork.com) – Sam Dekker had 16 points and seven rebounds as No. 14 Wisconsin took a 69-58 victory over Indiana in Big Ten action on Tuesday. Traevon Jackson had 14 points, Ben Brust added 12 while Josh Gasser gave 11 for the Badgers (23-5, 10-5 Big Ten), who have won six straight games. Yogi Ferrell scored 24 points and Noah Vonleh gave 18 points with six rebounds for the Hoosiers (15-12, 5-9), who have lost four of their last five.

Minneapolis, MN (SportsNetwork.com) – Austin Hollins scored a game-high 27 points to lead Minnesota to a 95-89 win over No. 20 Iowa on Tuesday. Deandre Mathieu scored 19 points and handed out seven assists, Andre Hollins scored 14 points and Charles Buggs finished with 13 points off the bench for the Golden Gophers (18-11, 7-9 Big Ten), who had dropped two straight entering the contest. Roy Devyn Marble scored 24 points and Aaron White added 21 for the Hawkeyes (19-8, 8-6), who have dropped two straight and three of their last five overall.

Albuquerque, NM (SportsNetwork.com) – Cameron Bairstow had 14 points, Alex Kirk scored 13 and No. 25 New Mexico survived a scare to pick up a 67-58 win over Utah State on Tuesday. New Mexico trailed for a 10-minute stretch in the second half before Cullen Neal, son of head coach Craig Neal, hit a 3- pointer and scored four to key a 9-0 run that gave the Lobos the lead. Neal scored 12 points in the game and made another 3 to spark a 12-0 run that pushed New Mexico’s advantage to 12 with four minutes left. Kendall Williams added 10 points for the Lobos (22-5, 13-2 Mountain West), who stay tied with San Diego State atop the conference after beating the Aztecs on Saturday. The No. 13 Aztecs defeated San Jose State later on Tuesday. Preston Medlin had 19 points to lead the Aggies (15-13, 5-11), who have lost four in a row. Utah State shot better in 18 attempts from 3-point range (44.4 percent) than in 40 shots inside the arc (35 percent). Aggies coach Stew Morrill remained one win shy of 600 for his career. He will get a fifth shot at it on the road at San Jose State on Saturday.
