Lexington, KY (SportsNetwork.com) – Andrew Harrison scored 23 points and No. 1 Kentucky remained the country’s only unbeaten team with a 69-58 win over Georgia on Tuesday. Karl-Anthony Towns added 15 points and 13 rebounds in the win and was the only other Kentucky scorer in double figures. The Wildcats (22-0, 9-0 SEC) extended the program’s best start since 1965-66, when the team began the season 23-0. They led by as much as 18 early in the second half but allowed Georgia (14-7, 5-4) to get back into it with a 9-1 scoring burst over a couple of minutes.

Madison, WI (SportsNetwork.com) – The proverbial gap between Wisconsin and the rest of the Big Ten was never more evident than in Tuesday’s 92-78 victory over Indiana. Frank Kaminsky led the fifth-ranked Badgers (20-2, 8-1 Big Ten) with 23 points on 9-of-12 shooting, highlighting an offense that shot 60 percent from the field and 28-of-31 from the foul line. Nigel Hayes scored 16 points, Bronson Koenig added 15, and Sam Dekker checked in with 14 points and six rebounds in Wisconsin’s fifth straight win. All five Indiana starters finished in double figures, with Nick Zeisloft hitting five 3-pointers en route to a team-high 17 points. Robert Johnson and Troy Williams netted 16 and 14 points, respectively. The Hoosiers (16-7, 6-4) came in tied for second in the conference standings and were looking to snap a 12-game losing streak at Kohl Center.

The Cardinals began growing “rally beards” following their loss to Duke on Jan. 17, something the team also did last season. They’ve won four straight since and don’t plan on seeing a razor until they lose again. Louisville shot a scorching 68.2 percent (15-of-22) in the first half and held on over the final 20 minutes despite hitting on just 30.8 percent (8-of-26) of their attempts in the second.

Terre Haute, IN (SportsNetwork.com) – No. 14 Northern Iowa took over control of the Missouri Valley Conference on Saturday and continued its roll with a convincing road win over Indiana State. Seth Tuttle scored 15 points with eight rebounds and five assists to lead the Panthers in their 10th straight win, a 61-51 decision over the Sycamores at Hulman Center. Northern Iowa (21-2, 10-1 MVC) grabbed first place in the conference standings with a 70-54 home win against then-No. 12 Wichita State over the weekend thanks to Tuttle, who supplied a career-high 29 points against the Shockers. The Panthers had not won 10 straight since a 15-game winning streak during their 30-win campaign in 2009-10. Jeremy Morgan had 12 points and nine rebounds in the win. Indiana State (11-12, 7-4), which entered the game ranked third in the conference standings, has lost four of its last six overall. The Sycamores had won five straight at home, all in conference play, until Northern Iowa sent them to their sixth straight loss against a Top-25 foe.

Norman, OK (SportsNetwork.com) – Buddy Hield scored 21 points and No. 21 Oklahoma earned a bit of revenge with a 71-52 victory over No. 15 West Virginia on Tuesday. The Mountaineers embarrassed the Sooners on Jan. 13 in a 21-point rout that saw West Virginia force 22 turnovers, but it was Oklahoma (15-7, 6-4 Big 12) that won the turnover battle (15-13) in the rematch. Hield shot an efficient 8-of-13 from the floor and 5-of-7 from 3- point range to highlight an offense that made 61 percent of its shots. Jordan Woodard added 12 points, and Ryan Spangler chipped in with 10 points and six rebounds in the Sooners’ third straight win. Juwan Staten and Gary Browne went for 15 and 12 points, respectively, for West Virginia (18-4, 6-3), which had its three-game winning streak snapped.

Indianapolis, IN (SportsNetwork.com) – Kellen Dunham’s 21 points led the way as 22nd-ranked Butler rolled to an 85-62 victory over sliding St. John’s in a Big East matchup from historic Hinkle Fieldhouse. In a game it never trailed at any stage, Butler (17-6, 7-3 Big East) got strong contributions from all five starters in winning its fourth straight conference test. Alex Barlow went 5-of-5 from the field in a 15-point effort for the Bulldogs, who shot 56.4 percent as a team. Andrew Chrabascz tallied 14 points and Roosevelt Jones added 13, with Kameron Woods pulling down a game-high 12 rebounds in the rout. St. John’s (14-8, 3-6) shot just 37.3 percent and played the majority of the contest without top rebounder Chris Obekpa, ejected for elbowing Butler’s Tyler Wideman in the head with 8:26 remaining in the first half. Sir’Dominic Pointer paced the Red Storm with 19 points and Rysheed Jordan had 17 in the loss. St. John’s has now dropped seven of 10 after an 11-1 start.
