Nigel Hayes scored 15 points with five rebounds and Traevon Jackson finished with 11 points, five assists and three boards for the Badgers (4-0), who were coming off an 84-60 win over Green Bay on Wednesday. Derrick Marks supplied 16 points and three assists for the Broncos (3-1), who suffered their first loss of the season after a thrilling 72-67 double-overtime win over Montana on Tuesday.

Brooklyn, NY (SportsNetwork.com) – Quinn Cook scored 18 points and Jahlil Okafor had his first career double-double as No. 4 Duke toppled Stanford, 70-59, to win the Coaches vs. Cancer title. Okafor was limited on the post most of the night by Stanford senior Stefan Nastic but still managed to tally 10 points with 12 rebounds. Justise Winslow stuffed the stat sheet yet again with 14 points, nine rebounds and four assists and Matt Jones chipped in with 10 off the bench. Duke (5-0), which has won every game this season by double digits, dismantled Temple 74-54 on Friday to reach the finals. Cook earned Tournament MVP honors after averaging 17.5 points over two games. Chasson Randle scored a game-high 22 points while Nastic posted 13 points and 13 rebounds as Stanford (3-1) fell for the first time this season. Freshman Reid Travis contributed 12 boards.

Charlotte, NC (SportsNetwork.com) – Kennedy Meeks had 19 points and 12 rebounds in helping sixth-ranked North Carolina beat Davidson 90-72 on Saturday. Justin Jackson scored 18 points, Marcus Paige contributed 13 and J.P. Tokoto added 10 with seven boards for the Tar Heels (3-0), who posted their sixth straight win in the series. Peyton Aldridge made six 3- pointers and finished with 25 points for Davidson (2-1). Tyler Kalinoski totaled 12 points, seven rebounds and four assists in defeat.

Spokane, WA (SportsNetwork.com) – Angel Nunez scored 24 points and grabbed 11 rebounds, leading 13th-ranked Gonzaga to a 109-55 rout of St. Thomas Aquinas on Saturday. Byron Wesley added 22 points and Domantas Sabonis chipped in 19 for the Bulldogs (4-0), who easily handled the Division II Spartans for their 29th straight home win. Gonzaga will step up the competition next week with a visit to Madison Square Garden for the semifinals of the NIT Season Tip-off against Georgia. Matthew Lee scored 13 points to lead St. Thomas Aquinas (0-3).

Kingston, RI (SportsNetwork.com) – Freshman Jared Terrell made consecutive 3- pointers to open overtime and Rhode Island upset No. 21 Nebraska 66-62 on Saturday for its first win over a ranked opponent in almost 16 years. E.C. Matthews had 26 points and 10 rebounds and Terrell scored 12 for the Rams (3-0), who won their first three games for the first time in five seasons. Shavon Shields led Nebraska (2-1) with 25 points and nine rebounds and Terran Petteway scored 15. Petteway, one of the nation’s top scorers, rolled his right ankle stepping on the foot of a Rams player midway through the second half. He limped off the court but later returned. Terrell’s 3-pointers gave the Rams a 59-55 lead 1 1/2 minutes into overtime. They led by as many as seven with under two minutes to play but three Walter Pitchford free throws trimmed it to four and Nebraska later got within three on Petteway’s foul shots with 50 seconds remaining. A Matthews free throw extended it to four points and he sealed the win on two foul shots with four seconds remaining after Petteway’s dunk. Fans at the Ryan Center stormed the court at the buzzer to celebrate the Rams’ first victory over a nationally ranked opponent since they beat No. 25 Utah on Dec. 2, 1998.

Dallas, TX (SportsNetwork.com) – Nic Moore scored 22 points and Keith Frazier added 17, leading 22nd-ranked SMU back into the win column with a 77-68 triumph over previously unbeaten Eastern Washington. Yanick Moreira chipped in 13 points for the Mustangs (2-2), who were coming off tough losses at Gonzaga and Indiana earlier this week. Tyler Harvey scored 24 points and Venky Jois contributed 13 with 10 rebounds for Eastern Washington (3-1), which had wins over Texas Southern, Utah Valley and Walla Walla to open its season.
