Raleigh, NC (SportsNetwork.com) – North Carolina State football coach Dave Doeren has suspended seven players for this Saturday’s game against Louisville.

Wide receivers Johnathan Alston and Jumichael Ramos, defensive backs Josh Jones and Mike Stevens, linebacker Jerod Fernandez and defensive linemen Justin Jones and Pharoah McKever will sit out Saturday after a BB gun incident.

“It’s going to be a next man in mentality for our team this week,” said Doeren on Monday. “We need to help young men become better young men.”

Alston has 14 receptions for 131 yards with a touchdown for the Wolfpack this season, while Fernandez leads the team with 58 tackles.
