Sunrise, FL (SportsNetwork.com) – Ben Scrivens stopped all 20 shots he faced in his Los Angeles debut, as the Kings walked away with a 3-0 decision over the Florida Panthers on Sunday. Scrivens, who was acquired from the Maple Leafs along with forward Matt Frattin and a second-round draft pick for goaltender Jonathan Bernier in late June, posted his second career whitewash against the Panthers and third career shutout. The 27-year-old appeared in one previous game this season, a scoreless stint in relief of Jonathan Quick against Winnipeg on Oct. 4. Dan Carcillo, Justin Williams and Jordan Nolan lit the lamp for the Kings, who have won three in a row, including the first two on their current four-game road swing. Jacob Markstrom made 26 stops for the Panthers, who were blanked for the second time in the first six games of the season.

Winnipeg, MB (SportsNetwork.com) – Al Montoya turned aside all 24 shots he faced in his season debut, backstopping the Winnipeg Jets to a 3-0 victory over the New Jersey Devils at MTS Centre. Evander Kane scored two goals for Winnipeg, which snapped a three-game losing streak. The Jets opened the season with consecutive wins before the slide. Cory Schneider stopped 32 shots for a Devils team still seeking their first win (0-3-3). The six-game winless drought is the worst to start a season since the club moved to New Jersey.

Anaheim, CA (SportsNetwork.com) – Corey Perry scored a pair of goals to lead the Anaheim Ducks to a 4-1 win over the Ottawa Senators. Nick Bonino and Ryan Getzlaf also tallied for the Ducks, who have won four straight since dropping their season-opener to Colorado. Jonas Hiller had 30 saves in the win. The Ducks set a franchise record with 56 shots on goal. The previous record was 54 on March 27, 2009 against Edmonton. Former Duck Bobby Ryan tallied the lone goal for the Senators, who have dropped four straight. Ryan was selected by Anaheim with the second overall pick of the 2005 NHL Entry Draft and became a highly-productive member of the franchise before being traded to Ottawa over the summer. Robin Lehner made 45 saves, but allowed a pair of goals, while Craig Anderson gave up two goals on nine shots in the setback.
