Sean Couturier, Michael Del Zotto, Pierre-Edouard Bellemare and Jakub Voracek tallied while Brayden Schenn posted two assists for the Flyers, who have won two in a row to begin their four-game homestand. Nick Bjugstad provided the sole marker for the Panthers, who had beaten Philadelphia at home, 2-1, on Saturday. Roberto Luongo made 26 saves in defeat.

Ottawa, ON (SportsNetwork.com) – Craig Anderson posted his second shutout of the season and Mike Hoffman scored twice to lead the Ottawa Senators to a 3-0 victory over the Minnesota Wild on Thursday. Anderson made 35 saves and Clarke MacArthur also lit the lamp for Ottawa, which has won two in a row following a 3-1 win over Detroit on Tuesday. Niklas Backstrom allowed all three goals on 17 shots in Minnesota’s second straight loss. The Wild fell to 1-7-1 in their last nine contests against the Senators.

St. Louis, MO (SportsNetwork.com) – Jake Allen was just three minutes and 25 seconds from recording three consecutive shutouts, instead settling for a 24- save victory as St. Louis escaped with a 4-3 result over New Jersey in the back end of a home-and-home set. Allen made 24 saves to blank the Ducks on Oct. 30, then stopped 26 shots in a 1-0 decision against the Devils on Tuesday to open the brief set. He was measured by Michael Ryder late in regulation, however, to end the scoreless string. Jaden Schwartz and Vladimir Tarasenko each posted a goal and one assist for the Blues, who extended their season-best win streak to seven consecutive games. Alexander Steen and David Backes added power-play markers for the hosts. Ryder tallied twice and Marek Zidlicky once for the Devils, who avoided being shut out in back-to-back games for the first time in more than a year. Cory Schneider was pulled early in the third period after allowing three goals on 25 shots. Keith Kinkaid finished the contest with three stops on four chances.

James van Riemsdyk of the Leafs followed by missing the net on his shot to end the second round, then Tanguay beat Jonathan Bernier with a wrister to end the contest. Duchene, Tanguay and Nick Holden lit the lamp in regulation for the Avalanche, who put a three-game skid to rest. Reto Berra came up with 33 saves over the game’s first 65 minutes. He was carted off the ice on a stretcher after absorbing a hit from Avs defenseman Jan Hejda and smacking the back of his head as the two players were tangled up. Johnson stopped Anze Kopitar and Jeff Carter around Kyle Okposo’s shootout goal, and Frans Nielsen beat Jonathan Quick between the pads to seal the win. Brock Nelson scored a power-play goal in the first period for the Islanders, who were coming off an overtime win in Anaheim on Wednesday. The Kings had their six-game home winning streak snapped despite Quick making 25 saves.

San Jose, CA (SportsNetwork.com) – Nick Bonino scored the eventual game- winning goal late in the second period to lead the Vancouver Canucks to a 3-2 victory over the San Jose Sharks on Thursday. Radim Vrbata and Alexander Edler also found the back of the net and Ryan Miller made 34 saves for Vancouver, which has won two straight games and six of its last seven. James Sheppard and Logan Couture supplied San Jose’s offense and Antti Niemi turned aside 16-of-19 shots in defeat.
