Brooks knocked down a game-tying 3-pointer with 33.2 seconds remaining in regulation and the Bulls pulled away in the extra session. Nikola Mirotic posted 16 points, 12 boards and five assists for the Bulls, who snapped a three-game losing streak.

Boston, MA (SportsNetwork.com) – Marcus Smart’s three-point play with 52.2 seconds left put Boston ahead, and the Celtics held on for a critical 95-92 victory over the Memphis Grizzlies. Back from a three-game absence caused by an elbow injury, Avery Bradley put up 17 points and buried a key jumper that put Boston up by three with 7.9 seconds left. After Mike Conley badly missed a 3-point try on the other end, the surging Celtics inched closer in the Eastern Conference playoff race with their seventh win in 10 games. Boston now trails Miami by 1 1/2 games for the East’s No. 8 seed. Jae Crowder and Kelly Olynyk contributed 16 and 15 points, respectively, for the Celtics.

Redick provided 25 points, seven assists and five boards and Matt Barnes netted 22 points for the Clippers, who have won five of their last seven games.

Kenneth Faried had 14 points and four blocks in limited minutes while Will Barton gave 16 points, six rebounds and five assists off the bench for the Nuggets, who have been clicking under interim head coach Melvin Hunt. They have won four of six since he took over for Brian Shaw, with their last two wins coming by double digits.

Phoenix, AZ (SportsNetwork.com) – Markieff Morris had 24 points to lead the Phoenix Suns in a 106-97 win over the Minnesota Timberwolves on Wednesday night. Eric Bledsoe supplied 18 points and nine assists to the win, while T.J. Warren added 17 points off the bench. Phoenix snapped its two-game losing streak and won for the third time in its last five outings. Kevin Martin led the Timberwolves with 16 points and Justin Hamilton tallied 15 off the bench. Andrew Wiggins, Adreian Payne, Gorgui Dieng and Chase Budinger each chipped in 10 points for Minnesota, which has lost six of its last seven.

Andre Iguodala, Marreese Speights and Leandro Barbosa combined for 35 points off the bench. Golden State’s bench outscored Detroit’s, 39-25. Curry was held in check for most of the night, finishing with nine points and 11 assists on 4-of-15 shooting. It was the first time he failed to reach double figures since Nov. 21. Detroit fell for the eighth straight game despite a monster 20-point, 27-rebound effort from Andre Drummond. Greg Monroe also netted 20 points in the setback.

Portland, OR (SportsNetwork.com) – LaMarcus Aldridge posted 26 points with 14 rebounds as the Portland Trail Blazers held off Corey Brewer and the Houston Rockets with a 105-100 win on Wednesday night. Nicolas Batum had 18 points, nine rebounds and six assists and Robin Lopez chipped in 16 points and 10 rebounds for Portland, which has won six of seven. Corey Brewer finished with 23 points for the Rockets, who had their two-game winning streak snapped, but it was his fourth-quarter performance that stood out in this one.
