Charlotte never trailed in its fourth straight win. Mo Williams also netted 23 points with seven assists, Gerald Henderson scored 13 and Lance Stephenson had 11 points and eight boards off the bench. The struggling Raptors lost for the seventh time in eight games despite a combined 55 points from guards DeMar DeRozan and Kyle Lowry. No other Raptor reached double figures.

Rodney Stuckey tallied 12 points, seven rebounds and five assists, while David West contributed 10 points and 10 rebounds. Pau Gasol ended with 18 points and 10 rebounds for the Bulls, who had a two-game winning streak snapped. Orlando, FL (SportsNetwork.com) – Tobias Harris buried a go-ahead 3-pointer with 28.9 seconds left to help lift the Orlando Magic to a 119-114 victory over the Sacramento Kings. Minus leading scorer Nikola Vucevic due to an ankle injury, the Magic had several players step up in halting a four-game losing streak. None was bigger than Victor Oladipo, who poured in 32 points, came up with five steals, and dished out his 10th assist of the game on Harris’ big shot. Channing Frye chipped in 22 points and 10 rebounds for Orlando. Harris added 19 points and rookie Elfrid Payton delivered 12 assists along with 10 points. The Kings received huge efforts from both Rudy Gay and DeMarcus Cousins, but couldn’t get enough stops against an Orlando team that shot 56.5 percent from the field and made 13-of-24 attempts from beyond the arc. Gay finished with 39 points and Cousins scored 29 while pulling down 12 rebounds.

Philadelphia, PA (SportsNetwork.com) – Gordon Hayward scored 25 points and the Utah Jazz took control in the second half to beat the Philadelphia 76ers 89-83 on Friday. Derrick Favors added 15 points and 10 rebounds and Rudy Gobert had 15 rebounds and nine points for the Jazz, who bounced back from a last-second loss in Boston on Wednesday to win for the fourth time in their last five games. Philadelphia center Nerlens Noel filled the stat sheet with 10 points, 11 rebounds and six steals in the opener of a five-game homestand. But the Sixers dropped their fourth game in a row, falling to 1-9 in their last 10.

Washington, DC (SportsNetwork.com) – Despite playing without two of their stars and losing Goran Dragic to a back injury, the Miami Heat nearly overcame a 35-point deficit against the Washington Wizards. The miraculous comeback fell short. Nene scored 20 points and came up with a huge defensive rebound in the closing seconds as the Wizards held on for a 99-97 victory at Verizon Center. Marcin Gortat had 14 points and 17 rebounds for Washington, which was ahead 83-48 with seven minutes left in the third quarter. Bradley Beal had 17 points and John Wall dished out 12 assists for the Wizards, who have won two of three following a six-game skid. Dragic had 18 points, but he suffered a lower back contusion after taking a hard fall late in the third quarter. He didn’t play the fourth. Shabazz Napier had 16 points and Michael Beasley netted all 13 of his points in the final quarter for the Heat, who played without guard Dwyane Wade (sore right hip) and forward Luol Deng (right thigh contusion).

Atlanta, GA (SportsNetwork.com) – Once again, the Atlanta Hawks proved that their depth can overcome the Cleveland Cavaliers’ star power. Al Horford led six Atlanta players in double figures with 19 points as the Eastern Conference leaders handled the big-name Cavaliers by a 106-97 score at Philips Arena. Paul Millsap and Jeff Teague each had 16 points in the Hawks’ balanced attack, with Millsap adding eight rebounds and Horford pulling down nine along with six assists in Atlanta’s sixth straight win. The Hawks also received strong contributions from their bench, with Dennis Schroder chipping in 15 points with eight assists and Mike Scott netting 14 points in 17 minutes, and made their mark on the defensive end as well. Atlanta forced 18 turnovers, including nine from LeBron James, who shot just 5-of-13 while managing 18 points. Kyrie Irving led the Cavaliers with 20 points, while Kevin Love had 14 with eight rebounds.

Brandon Knight finished with 12 points and seven assists and P.J. Tucker, who did not start because he missed the team bus to shoot-around earlier in the day, gave 11 points off the bench. Brook Lopez led five Brooklyn reserves and six players overall in double figures with 19 points and 13 rebounds.

Houston, TX (SportsNetwork.com) – James Harden’s third triple-double of the season lifted the Houston Rockets over the Detroit Pistons, 103-93, on Friday. Harden finished with 38 points, 12 assists and 12 rebounds for Houston, which snapped a two-game losing streak. Harden’s three triple-doubles this season are the most in a single season by a Rocket since Clyde Drexler had three in 1996-97. Terrence Jones had 17 points, eight rebounds, three blocks and two steals for the Rockets. Corey Brewer contributed 15 points off the bench. Greg Monroe ended with 19 points and eight boards for the Pistons, who have lost five in a row. Reggie Jackson recorded 17 points and seven assists.

Davis had 29 points, 14 rebounds and three blocks, but the Hornets never led over the last 16 1/2 minutes, failing in their attempt to tie idle Oklahoma City for eighth place in the Western Conference. Brandon Bass had 17 points, Evan Turner scored 16 and Jae Crowder added 11 points and nine rebounds for the Celtics, who have won two in a row and five of their last seven games. Davis returned from a five-game absence because of a shoulder sprain to get 39 points, 13 rebounds and eight blocks in an 88-85 win over Detroit on Wednesday — New Orleans’ sixth victory in seven games. He also had three blocks, which moved him to 2,895 for his career, one past Patrick Ewing for sixth place on the NBA’s all-time list. Danny Green provided 11 points and Tiago Splitter scored 10 for the Spurs, who have won their first two contests of a six-game homestand after a 4-5 rodeo road trip. It also marked their sixth straight win against the Mavericks, the first time the Warriors have accomplished the feat since capturing six in a row from Dec. 26, 1996 to Dec. 16, 1997. Rajon Rondo and Dirk Nowitzki each had 14 points for the Mavericks, who have lost four of their last five.
