Philadelphia, PA (SportsNetwork.com) – Trevor Ariza scored a career-high 40 points to lead the Washington Wizards to a 122-103 win over the Philadelphia 76ers on Saturday. Ariza went 8-for-12 from beyond the arc and added a game- high four steals for the Wizards, who have won six straight. Martell Webster and John Wall scored 17 apiece, while the latter added 16 helpers, and Marcin Gortat went for 13 points and 14 rebounds. Tony Wroten scored 19 off the bench, Thaddeus Young added 17 and Michael Carter-Williams had 15 points, seven assists and six rebounds for the 76ers, who have lost 13 straight.
