Indiana State seeks improvement under Sanford
Terre Haute, IN (SportsNetwork.com) – Indiana State’s football program will try to rebound from an 1-11 season in coach Mike Sanford’s second year at the helm.
The Sycamores announced a 12-game 2014 schedule on Wednesday, including FBS trips to Indiana (Aug. 30) and Ball State (Sept. 13).
Among six home games at Memorial Stadium are Missouri Valley Football Conference matchups with Northern Iowa (Oct. 4), Illinois State (Oct. 11, Homecoming), Missouri State (Nov. 1) and South Dakota State (Nov. 8).
In addition, the Sycamores will host non-conference opponents Tennessee Tech (Sept. 6) and Liberty (Sept. 27).
