FCS semifinals schedule finalized

Philadelphia, PA (SportsNetwork.com) – The schedule for the FCS semifinals next weekend was set hours after Saturday’s playoff action.

Unseeded Sam Houston State (11-4) will travel to second-seeded North Dakota State (13-1) for an 8 p.m. ET kickoff Friday night on ESPN2. The host Bison have won the last three national championships, including against Sam Houston in the 2011 and ’12 title games.

Top-seeded New Hampshire (12-1) will host fifth-seeded Illinois State (12-1) in a 2 p.m. ET matchup on Saturday on ESPNU. That winner will reach the national final for the first time.

The championship game will be played Jan. 10 at Toyota Stadium in Frisco, Texas.
