Blues place D Polak on IR

St. Louis, MO (SportsNetwork.com) – The St. Louis Blues placed defenseman Roman Polak on injured reserve Saturday.

Polak apparently suffered the unspecified lower-body injury during a 5-1 win over the Montreal Canadiens on Thursday.

In 34 games this season, the native of the Czech Republic has totaled three goals and four assists.
