Blue Jackets put D Prout on IR

Columbus, OH (SportsNetwork.com) – The Columbus Blue Jackets placed Dalton Prout on injured reserve Wednesday.

The defenseman is expected to miss 2-to-3 weeks with an upper-body injury sustained during Monday’s game against the Winnipeg Jets.

Prout, 23, has registered two assists and 41 blocked shots in 24 games with Columbus this season.
