Top 5 Highest-Grossing Concerts of the Week

Taylor Swift is ousted from the top spot this week while two artists make their way into the top five. And thanks to new attendance data that’s available, we can also see that not surprisingly, the highest-grossing concerts of the week are also those with the most in attendance. Or in other words, the concerts you want to be seen at.

5.) Marco Antonio Solis
Total Gross: $2,487,840
Attendance: 38,190
Marco Antonio Solis brought his Latin rhythm, moves and music to Mexico City this week and brought in some big bucks doing it. This tour’s just beginning though and he’s got the Jonas Brothers on the lineup; so expect his name to appear on the top five throughout the summer.

4.) Jason Aldean
Total Gross: $2,859,835
Attendance: 63,764
Jason Aldean’s taking his “Dirt Road Anthem” where it belongs — on the road, and fans are coming in by the droves just to see him perform. Aldean’s also got plenty of festival stops on the docket for this summer so if you can’t catch him on tour, check out what music festivals will be near your town.

3.) Taylor Swift
Total Gross: 6,630,150
Attendance: 78,910
This week Taylor did manage to sell out Cowboy Stadium on her Red tour, but that wasn’t enough to keep her in the top spot. Although she fell from number one this week, Taylor’s sure to keep some place in the top five as she continues to add dates onto her tour.

2.) Bruce Springsteen & The E-Street Band
Total Gross: $7,881,760
Attendance: 75,602
He didn’t sell out any stadiums, but The Boss did enter the top five this week in a big way — by jumping all the way to number two as soon as he made the list. He’s going overseas next, but that’s surely not going to stop fans from scooping up as many tickets as they can.

1.) Bon Jovi
Total Gross: $41,447,190
Attendance: 393,641
Bon Jovi most likely made the top of the list due to the fact that the band had at least twice as many shows as any other band or artist on the list. But ever since the band went on tour earlier this year, they’ve been proving that they’ve still got it after 30 years. And fans have been proving that they still like it, too!
