Seinfeld to run Live NYC Show for One Month Only

It’s been 14 years since Jerry Seinfeld brought his live comedy show to the road. Then it was called “I’m Telling You for the Last Time,” but that doesn’t appear to be the case. Now, Seinfeld is performing at least five more times, appearing in venues all around New York, to bring fans what they like best — laughter.

The show currently does not have a name, but it does have several venues. Born and raised in New York, Seinfeld wanted to make sure that all NYC fans got a chance to see him this time, and that’s why he’ll be hitting all five boroughs during the run. That run will take place for one month only, during the dates of October 4 to November 8. He’ll start at the Beacon Theatre on October 4 and then move to the Lehman Performing Arts Centre; the Kupferberg Center; and the Walt Whitman Theatre. For a full listing of dates and venues, you can find it here.

Since doing the show “Seinfeld,” Jerry Seinfeld has appeared on several comedy shows and documentaries. This latest tour has been going on for much of the summer, but it’s coming back to his hometown that has Jerry most excited.

“I was born in Brooklyn, went to school in Queens, and started out as a comedian in Manhattan,” Jerry said when speaking about these special dates. “I feel like New York City taught me how to be funny. I’m so excited to perform a special series of shows for my beloved hometown.”

Tickets for the five New York shows go on sale July 30, and comedian Colin Quinn will be opening each of the NYC dates. Get your Seinfeld tickets today on Stub.com.
