NFL Preview: Week 5
Just a month into the NFL season and already there’s a lot to talk about! This week has an unpredictable game between the Eagles and the Steelers, a battle of the quarterbacks in New England, and an impossible game for the Jets. With that said, let’s take a closer look at this week’s top three games.
Philadelphia Eagles at Pittsburgh Steelers
The Steelers have played a pretty miserable game so far this year, and at this point they’ll take any win no matter how it comes to them. Playing against the Eagles on Sunday, they might just get it. The Eagles have won their last three games, but no one’s really too sure just how. After all, they’ve only won them by a collective total of four points. And, it’s hard to say how Michael Vick is going to perform as well. He’s been okay so far this season, but he’s getting killed by just about any defense that he faces — so much so to the point that Philly now has him suited in a Kevlar vest.
Denver Broncos at New England Patriots
It’s the battle of two of the best quarterbacks this generation has ever seen. On Sunday Peyton Manning and Tom Brady will go head to head, and no matter which was this game goes, that’s going to make this one fun game. Throw in the fact that both teams currently sit at 2 -2, and that they both need the win, and this one’s a can’t-miss this weekend.
Houston Texans at New York Jets
The poor Jets are just not going to be able to pull through this one. But, the Texans are on such a roll that this one is going to make the game worth watching. Darrelle Revis and Santonio Holmes are both out for the Jets, and the quarterback controversy is also going to be a distraction; especially if Sanchez plays as horribly as he did last week. Houston on the other hand, is one of the favorites to win it all this year. This game will be an easy one along their way.
