New York, NY (SportsNetwork.com) – Blake Griffin poured in 32 points and the Los Angeles Clippers beat the New York Knicks 109-95 on Friday to push their winning streak to five games. Jamal Crawford scored 29 points in 29 minutes off the bench and DeAndre Jordan had 11 points, 16 rebounds and three blocks for the Clippers, who were coming off a 4-0 homestand. They won their fourth in a row over the Knicks and opened a seven-game road trip that continues against Indiana on Saturday. Carmelo Anthony had 26 points and 20 rebounds and J.R. Smith scored 24 off the bench to lead the Knicks, who lost their third straight to open an eight-game homestand. It was Anthony’s 15th double-double of the season.

Orlando, FL (SportsNetwork.com) – In a battle of the two basement teams in the Southeast Division, Al Jefferson did his best to keep his team from falling further toward the bottom. Jefferson poured in a game-high 30 points and grabbed 16 rebounds to lead the Charlotte Bobcats to a 111-101 win over the Orlando Magic at the Amway Center. Kemba Walker totaled 19 points and 10 assists, while Josh McRoberts and Gerald Henderson finished with 17 points apiece for the Bobcats, who have won two of their last three. Arron Afflalo scored 24 and Tobias Harris and Jameer Nelson added 18 apiece for the Magic, who have not won yet in 2014. Glen Davis contributed 11 points and 11 rebounds, while Victor Oladipo had 11 points and 10 assists in defeat.

Philadelphia, PA (SportsNetwork.com) – The Miami Heat got back to their winning ways with a 101-86 victory over the Philadelphia 76ers on Friday. The Heat snapped a three-game skid and avenged a 114-110 loss to the Sixers on Oct. 30. Chris Bosh had 25 points, six rebounds and five blocks for Miami, which improved to 1-3 on a six-game road trip. LeBron James tallied 21 points, 10 assists and eight rebounds. Tony Wroten had 13 points for the Sixers, who have lost five of their last six games. Evan Turner tallied 11 points and Thaddeus Young, Spencer Hawes and Hollis Thompson each donated 10 points.

Toronto, ON (SportsNetwork.com) – With the Minnesota Timberwolves in the midst of a losing streak, Toronto was one of the last places they wanted to see in order to get back to their winning ways. Kyle Lowry had 24 points on 6- of-9 shooting from beyond the arc with six assists and five rebounds to lead the Raptors to a 94-89 win, Toronto’s 10th consecutive home victory against the T-Wolves. Amir Johnson added 19 points, Terrence Ross had 16 and DeMar DeRozan chipped in with 15 points for the Raptors, who picked up their sixth consecutive win overall at Air Canada Centre. Meanwhile, Minnesota has lost three straight overall and was paced by Kevin Martin, who finished with 18 points. Kevin Love recorded a double-double of 16 points and 12 rebounds, while Jose Juan Barea added 14 off the bench in the setback.

Washington, DC (SportsNetwork.com) – John Wall scored a game-high 23 points and dished out 11 assists to lead the Washington Wizards to a 96-93 win over the Chicago Bulls on Friday. Bradley Beal and Martell Webster scored 14 points apiece and Marcin Gortat had 13 points, six rebounds and three blocks for the Wizards, winners in three straight. Trevor Booker and Nene added 12 and 10 points, respectively, for Washington, which also beat the Bulls in Chicago on Monday. Kirk Hinrich paced the Bulls with 18 points, five rebounds and five assists. D.J. Augustin provided 16 points off the bench, while Carlos Boozer and Taj Gibson donated 12 points apiece for Chicago, which has dropped two of its last three. Boston, MA (SportsNetwork.com) – Rajon Rondo’s return to Boston’s lineup nearly had a storybook ending, but his last-second 3-pointer was off the mark and the Los Angeles Lakers survived with a 107-104 win over the Celtics on Friday. The Celtics welcomed back the four-time All-Star Rondo, who tore his ACL on Jan. 25, 2013. Rondo played around five minutes in each quarter, totaling eight points and four assists. Rondo checked in for the final time at 4:53 of the fourth quarter with the Celtics clinging to a three-point advantage. After Kelly Olynyk, who scored a career-high 25 points, potted a pull-up jumper and Ryan Kelly missed on the other end, Rondo fired a pass ahead to Avery Bradley for a wide-open transition 3-pointer to give Boston a 102-94 edge. Boston went cold after that, missing eight of its final nine shots down the stretch while the Lakers connected on three 3-pointers, the third by Kendall Marshall giving the Lakers a 105-104 lead. Kelly added two free throws, and without a timeout, Rondo pushed the ball up the court and attempted the game-tying 3 from the left wing, but it was off the mark as the buzzer sounded. Pau Gasol led the Lakers with 24 points, 13 rebounds and six assists while Marshall made 4-of-5 from beyond the arc en route to 19 points and 14 assists. Kelly scored 20 points, Jodie Meeks added 17 and Wesley Johnson totaled 11 points and 11 boards.

Auburn Hills, MI (SportsNetwork.com) – Trey Burke had 20 points and 12 assists and the Utah Jazz routed the Detroit Pistons 110-89 on Friday night. Enes Kanter tallied 18 points and seven rebounds, Marvin Williams added 17 points and seven boards and Derrick Favors grabbed 11 rebounds for Utah, which has alternated wins and losses over its last seven games. Rodney Stuckey had 21 points and six rebounds for the Pistons, who have dropped seven of their last nine tilts.

Memphis, TN (SportsNetwork.com) – Mike Conley scored a game-high 25 points as the Memphis Grizzlies edged the Sacramento Kings 91-90 at FedExForum. Courtney Lee added 17 points, Marc Gasol had 16 points and four blocks and Zach Randolph finished with 12 points, nine rebounds and four blocks for the Grizzlies, winners in five straight. DeMarcus Cousins scored 22 points and pulled down a game-high 17 rebounds, and Rudy Gay, who spent 6 1/2 seasons in Memphis before he was traded to Toronto last season, added 19 for the Kings, who have dropped two of their last three. Isaiah Thomas’ halfcourt alley-oop to Derrick Williams put Sacramento in front 86-79, but Memphis used a 12-2 run to take an 91-88 edge with 54 left. Gasol got the sequence started with a turnaround jumper and later found Tayshaun Prince with a backdoor piss to cut it to one possession.

San Antonio, TX (SportsNetwork.com) – Wesley Matthews made three of his six 3- pointers in the final four minutes to lift the Portland Trail Blazers over the San Antonio Spurs, 109-100, on Friday. Matthews ended with 24 points and six rebounds for the Blazers, who are now just a half-game behind San Antonio for the best record in the Western Conference. LaMarcus Aldridge added 26 points and 13 boards for Portland, which has won four in a row. Damian Lillard tallied 21 points and eight assists. Manu Ginobili ended with 29 points, seven rebounds and five assists for the Spurs, who had a six-game winning streak snapped. Marco Belinelli and Boris Diaw each had 14 points. San Antonio lost forward Matt Bonner to a broken nose. He played just over six minutes before exiting.

Denver, CO (SportsNetwork.com) – Kyrie Irving scored 23 points with six assists and the Cleveland Cavaliers closed out s five-game road trip with a 117-109 win over the Denver Nuggets on Friday night. Tristan Thompson contributed a double-double of 20 points and 10 rebounds, while CJ Miles and Luol Deng scored 19 and 18 points, respectively, in the win. Wilson Chandler scored 23 points and Ty Lawson deposited a double-double with 19 points and 11 assists for Denver, which had a four-game home winning streak snapped. Nate Robinson added 19 points off the bench and Randy Foye made four 3-pointers en route to a 16-point outing. Timofey Mozgov had 10 points and 11 boards in the setback.

Phoenix, AZ (SportsNetwork.com) – Monta Ellis scored 24 points and Dirk Nowitzki added 21 as the Dallas Mavericks edged the Phoenix Suns, 110-107, on Friday. Shane Larkin scored a career-high 18 points off the bench and Shawn Marion finished with 16 for the Mavericks, winners in four of their last five games. Goran Dragic scored a game-high 28 points on 12-of-20 shooting and also dished out seven assists. Markieff Morris added 23 points and 12 rebounds, Marcus Morris had 13 points and seven boards and P.J. Tucker donated 11 points and nine rebounds for the Suns, losers in four of their last five.

Oklahoma City, OK (SportsNetwork.com) – Friday’s meeting between the Oklahoma City Thunder and Golden State Warriors didn’t come down to a buzzer-beater, but there were still plenty of fireworks. Kevin Durant made sure of it. Durant had a career-high 54 points and the Thunder defeated the Warriors 127-121 on Friday night. Durant, who made 10 of his first 11 shots and tallied 29 first-half points, finished 19-of-28 from the field and 5-of-9 from beyond the arc. His 54-point effort came nearly a year after he netted his previous career-high of 52 points against the Dallas Mavericks on Jan. 18.
