Watson netted 16 points off the bench, Lance Stephenson added 11 points, 10 rebounds and five assists and Paul George grabbed 14 points and dished out six assists, but scored just eight points on 2-of-14 shooting for Indiana, which has won four of its last five games. Indiana outscored the Wizards 38-18 in the paint and outrebounded them 61-41. Bradley Beal had 17 points to lead the Wizards, who shot just 32.1 percent (26-of-81) from the floor.

Philadelphia, PA (SportsNetwork.com) – Josh Smith stuffed the stat sheet and led seven Pistons in double figures with 22 points as Detroit snapped a six- game losing streak with a 114-104 win over the Philadelphia 76ers on Friday. Smith also contributed 13 rebounds, seven assists, five blocked shots and four steals despite shooting just 8-of-23. Brandon Jennings donated 19 points while Kyle Singler and Will Bynum netted 16 apiece off the bench. Greg Monroe added 15 points and 10 boards and Andre Drummond had an 11-point, 12-rebound double- double on top of a career-high six blocks. Detroit, which outrebounded the Sixers 62-42, hadn’t won since Dec. 23. Thaddeus Young and Michael Carter-Williams dropped 22 and 21 points, respectively, as Philadelphia lost its third straight tilt on the heels of its season-high four-game winning streak. Evan Turner scored 16 points and Spencer Hawes tallied 16 points, 10 rebounds and six assists.

Atlanta, GA (SportsNetwork.com) – Paul Millsap scored 20 points with seven rebounds and the Atlanta Hawks snapped a six-game losing streak to the Houston Rockets with an 83-80 win on Friday night. Kyle Korver also scored 20 points, while Mike Scott added 14 points off the bench in the win. James Harden filled the stat sheet with 25 points, seven rebounds, and seven assists for Houston, while Dwight Howard deposited 15 points with 11 rebounds. Aaron Brooks and Jeremy Lin contributed 13 and 11 points, respectively, in the defeat, which snapped a two-game winning streak for the Rockets.

Joe Johnson had 22 of his 32 points in the first quarter, Paul Pierce added 23 and the Nets defeated the Miami Heat 104-95 on Friday night. James was whistled for his sixth and final foul with 36 seconds left in the first overtime. With the Heat trailing 93-91, James drove on Shaun Livingston, but was called for an offensive foul after putting his shoulder into him. It was the fourth regular-season game in his career that James fouled out.

Memphis, TN (SportsNetwork.com) – Mike Conley tied a career high with 31 points, 17 of which came in the second half, to lead the Memphis Grizzlies to a 104-99 victory over the Phoenix Suns at FedEx Forum. Conley, who poured in 30 points in Tuesday’s 110-108 overtime loss to San Antonio, finished 11- of-19 from the field and added seven assists in a second straight outstanding performance. Zach Randolph posted 20 points and 13 rebounds and Ed Davis amassed 10 points and 17 boards off the bench in the win, the Grizzlies’ third in as many meetings with the Suns this season. Goran Dragic paced Phoenix with 21 points and eight assists, with Markieff Morris tallying 17 points in defeat.

Dirk Nowitzki paced Dallas with 24 points while Jae Crowder and Jose Calderon added 12 and 11 points, respectively. The Mavericks, who improved to 2-0 against the Pelicans this season, will host New Orleans on Saturday. Eric Gordon shot 9-of-13 from the floor and 7-of-7 from the stripe to lead all scorers with 27 points for the Pelicans, who played for the first time this season without Jrue Holiday. Holiday, a 2013 All-Star with Philadelphia, was diagnosed with a stress fracture in his right tibia and will be sidelined indefinitely. New Orleans is already without sharpshooter Ryan Anderson (neck). Anthony Davis added 21 points, 13 rebounds and five blocks in the setback, while Austin Rivers made the most of his extended time with 12 points and a team- high four assists.

Mike Dunleavy tallied 18 points on 3-of-3 shooting from beyond the arc, Taj Gibson netted 12 and Jimmy Butler added 10 points for Chicago, which won its eighth consecutive road game over Milwaukee for the first time in franchise history. Joakim Noah had eight points and grabbed 10 rebounds in the Bulls’ fourth straight win overall. Chicago shot 38.7 percent from the floor, but held Milwaukee to a meager 31.8 percent shooting. O.J. The Cavs acquired the two-time All-Star Deng from the Chicago Bulls Tuesday in exchange for center Andrew Bynum, who was promptly waived, along with a first round pick and a pair of second rounders. Tobias Harris led Orlando with 16 points and Glen Davis deposited a 12-point, 12-rebound double-double in the Magic’s sixth straight loss.

Boston forward Kris Humphries was forced to switch and cover Curry, who shook the big man with a crossover before burying the deep jumper. Darren Collison added 20 points and seven assists for the Clippers, who improved to 3-0 on their four-game homestand. J.J. Redick had 19 points in his first game since Nov. 29. The Clippers recorded their largest-ever victory over the Lakers. The Clippers’ previous biggest win over the Lakers was 31 points on Feb. 19, 1992. Kendall Marshall ended with 16 points and 10 assists for the Lakers, who have lost four in a row. Wesley Johnson and Robert Sacre each tallied 14 points.
