Lots of News for Aerosmith Fans
Aerosmith has a ton of announcements, news, and upcoming tour dates, and it all starts today at the Grove in L.A. at 11:30!
Steven Tyler, the band’s frontman, started people talking and tweeting when he sent out a tweet last week saying that there was “sumthin big goin down” at the Grove and that those interested should “meet me at the fountain…1130???” Then just a few days later he reiterated the tweet saying “We have stuff 2 give away…booyah.” While fans are likely already lined up at the fountain at the Grove and eagerly awaiting Tyler’s appearance that seems to be just a few hours away, there’s more news they can chew on in the meanwhile.
The band has also announced via their website that the highly-anticipated tour now has official dates and venues, and even a name! The “Global Warming Tour” will begin on June 16 in Minneapolis at the Target Center and will take the band to 18 cities, all around the United States with the exception of one performance in Toronto, Ontario on June 27 at the Air Canada Centre. There has been talk from sources outside of the band that more tour dates may be added but for now you can find tour dates and Aerosmith tickets here.
One of the stops not listed in the official tour dates is the band’s performance on July 10. This will be at the Le Mondial Loto — Quebec festival in Laval, Quebec. While Aerosmith will be there for one day only, the festival is a month long running from June 15 — July 15 and is also set to include other artists such as Sarah McLachlan and LMFAO.
