The new Dave Matthews record, “Away from the World” was released on September 11 and it didn’t take long for it to soar to the very top of the U.S. Billboard charts. To celebrate, the Dave Matthews Band is going on a three week tour, playing at 14 stops in just 21 days.

The Dave Matthews tour, which currently has no name other than the “winter Dave Matthews tour” will begin on November 30, 2012 at the IZOD Center in East Rutherford, New Jersey. From there the band will be making stops in Toronto, Boston, Charlottesville, Baltimore, and Brooklyn, to name just a few. The tour will wrap on December 22 in Philadelphia at the Wells Fargo Center.

There are currently no scheduled stops for the West coast of the United States or Canada, but maybe we can hope that more dates will be added. You can find a full listing of venues and cities to be including on the tour, on the Dave Matthews Band tickets page on Stub.com.

For the first seven shows Jamaican musician Jimmy Cliff will be supporting DMB as the opening act before The Lumineers will take over the spot to finish off the last stops on the tour.
