Dave Matthews Band goes on Tour this Summer!
After watching their latest album, Away from the World, climb the charts and enjoy enormous success after its release last September, the Dave Matthews Band went on tour to celebrate. As expected, tickets for that 2012 Winter Tour sold out within minutes, leaving many fans wondering how much longer it would be until they had the chance again. Turns out, not that long. The band has just announced that they’ll be heading back out on the road, on a lengthy tour that will cover the entire summer, and countless cities.
Officially beginning in April with a few dates, it won’t be until mid-May that the band really starts to pick up dates and perform regularly throughout the week. There will be 45 dates in total and, for fans who missed out this winter, they’ll also be making two-night stays of many of their stops. The New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival will help kick it all off on April 28, and from there the group will travel to Texas to begin a run in the southern states. The tour will wrap on September 8 at the Shoreline Amphitheatre in Mountain View, California. For a full listing of dates and cities, visit the Dave Matthews Band tickets page.
