Laramie, WY (SportsNetwork.com) - Josh Adams scored 14 points and dished out seven assists as the Wyoming Cowboys defeated the Colorado Buffaloes, 56-33, in a non-conference battle at Arena-Auditorium.

Larry Nance Jr. added 10 points and grabbed five rebounds for the Cowboys (3-0). Charles Hankerson Jr. contributed 10 points and four assists in the win.

Xavier Johnson scored nine points for the Buffaloes (2-1), while Josh Scott added six points and seven rebounds.

Wyoming took a 26-24 lead into the half while shooting 47.8 percent from the floor. The Cowboys did not register a free throw in the first 20 minutes of play.

In the second half, Colorado shot a dismal 10 percent from field and 16.7 percent from 3-point range which led to just nine second-half points.

Wyoming shot 52.4 percent from the field and held the opposition to just 27.9 percent shooting in the game. The Cowboys also held a 22-4 advantage in points off turnovers.
