Bowling Green, KY (SportsNetwork.com) - George Fant totaled 14 points and four blocks to lead the Western Kentucky Hilltoppers to a 62-52 victory over the Bowling Green Falcons in non-conference play at E.A. Diddle Arena.

TJ Price had 13 points, eight rebounds and five assists for Western Kentucky (3-3), while Ben Lawson tacked on 12 points.

Spencer Parker netted 14 points on 4-of-14 shooting for Bowling Green (4-1). Anthony Henderson posted 11 points and Jehvon Clarke chipped in 10 off the bench.

Western Kentucky clawed its way to a 26-24 halftime lead. The Hilltoppers shot 45.8 percent from the field in the first half, while holding the Falcons to 31 percent accuracy.

The second half was similar, with the Hilltoppers turning in a 42.3 percent effort, compared to the Falcons' 38.5 percent showing.

Western Kentucky outscored Bowling Green in the paint (30-24), but the Falcons had more points off of turnovers (15-13).
