Recap: Washington vs. Pacific

Seattle, WA (SportsNetwork.com) - Shawn Kemp Jr. scored 18 points as the Washington Huskies took down the Pacific Tigers, 76-69, as part of the Marv Harshman Classic at Key Arena.

Also scoring in double figures for the Huskies (3-0) were Nigel Williams-Goss and Andrew Andrews with 17 points apiece, the former handing out six assists and the latter pulling down seven rebounds.

The Tigers (2-2) were paced by T.J. Wallace who registered a double-double consisting of 24 points and 10 rebounds, although he did shoot just 6-of-19 from the floor. Dulani Robinson accounted for 14 points off the bench in the setback.

Pacific led by a basket about eight minutes into the first half, but the team shot only 37.0 percent from the floor in the period, en route to a 36-29 deficit at the break. Washington was unable to pull away due to a mere 3-of-12 effort behind the 3-point line through the first 20 minutes.

In the second half the sides broke even as they both shot a shade over 43 percent from the floor, which meant the Huskies were on their way to their third win in as many opportunities.

The Huskies won the rebounding battle, 40-32, and came up with 18 points off turnovers.
