Recap: UCLA vs. Cal State Fullerton

Los Angeles, CA (SportsNetwork.com) - Norman Powell netted 18 points on 6- of-10 shooting as the UCLA Bruins cruised past the Cal State Fullerton Titans, 73-45, in a non-conference affair at Pauley Pavilion.

Bryce Alford tallied 14 points with seven assists for UCLA (6-2), while Isaac Hamilton and Tony Parker each chipped in with 12 points. Parker added nine rebounds, but was second on the team to Kevon Looney's 13 boards, which was part of his 10-point, 13-rebound double-double.

Alex Harris paced Cal State Fullerton (3-5) with 10 points in the defeat.

UCLA was hot in the first half, shooting 50 percent from the floor to take a 40-23 lead into the midway break. Cal State Fullerton netted 26.7 percent of its shot attempts in the frame, and went 2-of-10 from 3-point range.

The Bruins cooled off in the second half, making 39.4 percent of their attempts, which included a 5-of-11 mark from distance. The Titans fell to 20.8 percent shooting in the period en route to the hefty loss.

UCLA held a 26-14 edge in points in the paint, and easily outrebounded the Titans in the contest, 50-34.
