Lubbock, TX (SportsNetwork.com) - Devaugntah Williams scored 17 points on 6- of-16 shooting as the Texas Tech Red Raiders cruised past the Fresno State Bulldogs, 73-56, in a non-conference affair at United Supermarket Arena.

Justin Gray chipped in with 16 points and four rebounds for Texas Tech (6-1), while Toddrick Gotcher came off the bench to net 13 points and grab five rebounds.

Marvelle Harris netted a team-high 17 points, but turned the ball over five times for Fresno State (3-7). Karachi Edo contributed 13 points with six boards in the loss.

Texas Tech shot 41.4 percent from the floor in the first half, and went 4-of-8 from 3-point range to take a 34-31 lead into the locker room at the intermission. Fresno State connected on 44.4 percent from the field, but hit just 2-of-8 from beyond the arc.

The Red Raiders improved to 56.5 percent shooting in the second period, although they missed both 3-point attempts. The Bulldogs dropped to 36 percent from the floor in the frame, and fell behind even more in the double-digit loss.

Texas Tech held a 19-9 advantage in terms of made free throws, and owned a 34-28 edge in points in the paint.
