Arlington, TX (SportsNetwork.com) - Johnny Hall scored 12 points as the Texas- Arlington Mavericks defeated the Weber State Wildcats 63-56 in a non- conference showdown at College Park Center.

Lonnie McClanahan added 10 points for the Mavericks (4-4). Greg Gainey chipped in with eight points and eight rebounds in the win.

Jeremy Senglin scored 18 points and dished out five assists for the Wildcats (3-4). Joel Bolomboy added 12 points and 10 rebounds, while Chris Golden chipped in with 11 points.

The Wildcats shot just 29.2 percent from the field in the opening 20 minutes as the Mavericks, who shot 40.6 percent, took a 28-21 lead into the half.

In the second half, Texas-Arlington shot 48.1 percent from the field and used a 11-0 run to pull away for the win.

The Mavericks outscored the Wildcats in the paint, 38-22.
