Jersey City, NJ (SportsNetwork.com) - Desi Washington scored 18 points to lead the Saint Peter's Peacocks to a 60-46 victory over the Princeton Tigers in a non-conference duel at the Yanitelli Center.

Marvin Dominique netted 16 points and Tyler Gaskins chipped in 10 for Saint Peter's (4-6).

Hans Brase tallied 17 points and Amir Bell tacked on 10 for Princeton (3-7).

The two teams were tied at 25-25 at halftime. Saint Peter's shot 40 percent from the floor in the first period, but that included a 2-of-11 showing from 3-point range. Princeton hit on only 35.7 percent from the field overall, but had five 3-pointers in the first 20 minutes.

In the second half, five of the Peacocks' seven field goals came from 3-point range, while they sank 16-of-25 at the free-throw line. The Tigers had only six total field goals in the frame.

Saint Peter's had a 19-6 overall scoring edge at the foul line.
