Anaheim, CA (SportsNetwork.com) - Spencer Weisz scored 16 points and dished out five assists as the Princeton Tigers outlasted the San Jose State Spartans, 69-54, in the consolation game of the Wooden Legacy tournament at the Honda Center.

Weisz connected on 6-of-8 shooting for Princeton (2-5), while Hans Brase chipped in with 15 points, six assists and five rebounds.

Jordan Baker led all scorers in the game with 23 points, adding in six rebounds for San Jose State (1-6), which lost its sixth consecutive contest.

Princeton came out in the first half and connected on 44 percent of its shot attempts, including 6-of-13 from 3-point range. The Tigers took a 30-19 advantage into the half after San Jose State shot just 33.3 percent from the field.

It got much better for both sides in the second frame. Princeton increased its field goal percentage to 71.4 shooting, while the Spartans hit on 54.5 percent of their tries. The Tigers were able to add on another four points to their lead by the time the final buzzer sounded.

Princeton held a 30-10 advantage in points in the paint, and turned 18 San Jose State turnovers into 22 points.
