San Diego, CA (SportsNetwork.com) - Johnny Dee had 21 points and Thomas Jacobs recorded a double-double as the San Diego Toreros completed a 77-70 victory over the Western Michigan Broncos as part of the Wooden Legacy Tournament at Jenny Craig Pavilion.

Jacobs had 10 points to go with 11 rebounds for San Diego (3-1). Jito Kok added 15 points and Duda Sanadze netted 13 off the bench.

David Brown finished with 21 points for Western Michigan (3-1). Austin Richie chipped in 16 points and Tucker Haymond had 15.

San Diego connected on an even 50 percent from the floor in the first half, which was better than the 46.4 percent effort from Western Michigan. The Toreros led, 38-31, at the break.

The Toreros heated up to 66.7 percent shooting in the second half, while the Broncos cooled to 39.4 percent as they let the game slip away, despite taking 18 more shots than their hosts in the final 20 minutes.

Western Michigan lost despite a 21-16 scoring edge off of turnovers.
