Eugene, OR (SportsNetwork.com) - Joseph Young poured in a game-high 22 points, as the Oregon Ducks made easy work of the Detroit Titans, 83-66, as part of the Progressive Legends Classic at Matthew Knight Arena.

Young shot just 7-of-23 from the field for Oregon (2-0), including a dreadful 1-of-12 from 3-point range, but he also chipped in with five rebounds and four assists. Jalil Abdul-Bassit netted 17 off the bench, while Dillon Brooks and Elgin Cook scored 14 and 10, respectively.

For Detroit (1-1), Juwan Howard, Jr. led the way with 16 points, Jarod Williams followed closely with 15 points and Anton Wilson logged 14 points.

Neither team shot particularly well from the floor in the first half, with Oregon going 13-of-31 (.419) and Detroit 13-of-35 (.371). The scored was knotted at 35 heading into intermission.

The Ducks pulled away in the second stanza by improving their shooting from the field to 47.2 percent. The Titans, meanwhile, continued to struggle at 34.4 percent.

Oregon held a convincing 47-37 rebounding advantage.
