Las Vegas, NV (SportsNetwork.com) - Kasey Shepherd tallied 22 points, six rebounds and five assists off the bench, as the Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns made easy work of the Oral Roberts Golden Eagles, 76-52, as part of the Lightweight Bracket of the MGM Grand Main Event.

Shepherd shot 7-of-8 from the field for Louisiana (2-3), including 4-of-5 from 3-point range. Devonta Walker (13 points), Brian Williams (11) and Hayward Register (10) also reached double figures.

For Oral Roberts (1-3), Denell Henderson tallied a double-double with 15 points and 10 rebounds, while Korey Billbury netted 13 points.

Louisiana outshot Oral Roberts from the field in the first half, 46.9 percent to 36.4 percent, as it took a comfortable 36-25 lead into intermission.

The Cajuns improved to 58.3 percent from the floor over the final 20 minutes, while the Golden Eagles regressed to a lowly 20.8 percent. Louisiana's lead swelled to as large as 27 late in the game.

Louisiana overcame a game-high 21 turnovers by winning the rebounding battle, 42-34.
