Omaha, NE (SportsNetwork.com) - Tre'Shawn Thurman scored 18 points and blocked five shots as the Nebraska-Omaha Mavericks defeated the Nevada Wolf Pack 78-54, in a non-conference clash at Ralston Arena.

Mike Rostampour scored 17 points and pulled down five rebounds for the Mavericks (3-2). Marcus Tyus added 12 points while Devin Patterson chipped in with 10 points and nine assists in the win.

As for the Wolf Pack, (2-4), AJ West scored 10 points and grabbed seven rebounds. Marqueze Coleman added nine points, but also turned the ball over seven times.

Tyus nailed a 3-pointer with one second left on the first-half clock to close the gap and allow the Wolf Pack to take a slim 32-31 lead at the break.

The Mavericks shot 60.7 percent from the field and held Nevada to just 26.1 percent from the floor in the second half to cruise to the 24-point decision.

The Wolf Pack shot a dismal 3-of-17 from beyond the arc and turned the ball over 20 times on the day.
