Bozeman, MT (SportsNetwork.com) - Larry Nance Jr. erupted for 31 points as the Wyoming Cowboys captured a 61-51 win over the Montana State Bobcats in non- conference play at Worthington Arena.

Derek Cooke Jr., who made good on 6-of-8 shots from the floor, registered a double-double for the Cowboys (11-2) as he posted 13 points and a game-high 11 rebounds, while Josh Adams posted 10 points, four boards, four assists and four steals in the team's third straight victory.

The Bobcats (3-9), losers of four in a row, were paced by Marcus Colbert who delivered 20 points and six assists, the only player in double figures and the only MSU performer to make more than three field goals on the night.

Both teams made just eight field goals in the first half, but thanks to a 9-4 advantage at the free-throw line, Wyoming moved out to a 27-22 advantage at the break.

In he second half the Pokes not only converted 50 percent from the floor, they also knocked down 10-of-15 attempts at the charity stripe in order to secure the double-digit win.

The Cowboys won the first meeting of the season between these teams just nine days ago in Laramie by a score of 70-61 as well.
