Columbia, MO (SportsNetwork.com) - Johnathan Williams III recorded a double- double with 18 points and 11 boards as the Missouri Tigers overcame a double- digit deficit to edge the Southeast Missouri State Redhawks, 65-61, in an in- state battle at Missouri Arena.

Montaque Gill-Caesar scored 13 of his 15 points after the break for the Tigers (4-3). Keith Shamburger added 11 points for Missouri.

Jarekious Bradley led Southeast (3-4) with 12 points. J.J. Thompson contributed 11 points and six assists, while Antonius Cleveland netted 10 points. Isiah Jones and Josh Langford chipped in nine points apiece, with the latter also accounting for a team-best eight boards.

The Redhawks led by as many as 11 in the first half before taking a 30-24 lead into the intermission. Southeast connected on 12-of-26 field goal tries and committed only six fouls before the break. The Tigers were limited to a 2-of-8 clip from beyond the arc in the opening stanza.

Missouri heated up to drain 6-of-7 shots from 3-point range in the second half. Southeast was outscored, 11-3, at the charity stripe after halftime. The Tigers went on an 11-6 run over the final 3:47 of regulation.

The Redhawks finished 5-of-14 at the charity stripe.
