College Park, MD (SportsNetwork.com) - Richaud Pack notched 22 points and seven rebounds as the Maryland Terrapins knocked off the VMI Keydets, 95-77, in a non-conference tilt at the Xfinity Center.

Pack shot 10-of-14 from the field for the Terrapins (7-0), who remain undefeated. Melo Trimble, Dion Wiley and Jake Layman each tallied 19 points, while Michal Cekovsky had 10.

Craig Hinton knocked down a game-high 23 points on 8-of-9 from the floor for the Keydets (2-4), who have lost three straight. QJ Peterson netted 18 points and grabbed nine rebounds in the loss.

The Terrapins looked strong out of the gate, shooting an even 50 percent from the field in the first half. The Keydets weren't far behind at 45.9 percent, as they trailed 49-45 at halftime.

The visitors dipped to just 33.3 percent from the floor in the second half, while the Terrapins got even stronger, shooting at a 67.9 percent clip. The home team led by as many as 18 midway through the second half.

Maryland outscored its opponent by a staggering 66-30 margin in the paint on its way to a dominant victory. VMI did hold a 48-12 advantage in bench scoring.
