LSU Tigers VS. Texas A&M Aggies

Recap: LSU vs. Texas A&M

Baton Rouge, LA (SportsNetwork.com) - Jalen Jones racked up a game-high 18 points and nine rebounds to go along with two blocks and three steals, as the Texas A&M Aggies rallied for a 67-64 win over LSU in Southeastern Conference play at the Maravich Center.

Danuel House also scored 18 points to help the Aggies (11-5, 2-2 SEC) secure their first road victory of the season.

The Tigers (13-4, 2-2) entered the day seeking an 11th victory in their last 12 games, but they went cold in the second half and were unable to maintain a double-digit lead. Jordan Mickey led the way with 17 points, eight rebounds and seven blocks in the loss. Jalyn Patterson and Jarell Martin added 13 and 12 points, respectively.

Texas A&M jumped out to a quick 7-0 lead, although the Tigers controlled the action for much of the first half as they shot 6-of-10 from 3-point range and took a 40-32 halftime lead into the locker room.

But Texas A&M managed to erase a 13-point second-half deficit while holding LSU to just 29.4-percent shooting from the floor and 1-of-13 from the perimeter after halftime.

The Tigers were held to two points over the final four and a half minutes, which allowed the Aggies to take their first lead of the period on a jumper by House in the final 30 seconds.
