Iowa City, IA (SportsNetwork.com) - Five players scored in double figures for the Iowa Hawkeyes, who routed the North Dakota State Bison, 87-56, in a non- conference matchup as part of the 2K Classic at Carver-Hawkeye Arena.

Gabriel Olaseni (14 points, 11 rebounds) and Adam Woodbury (10 points, 11 rebounds) notched double-doubles for the Hawkeyes (2-0). Jarrod Uthoff (12 points), Anthony Clemmons (11) and Aaron White (10) were also impressive.

Lawrence Alexander led the Bison (0-2) with a game-high 21 points, shooting 6- of-10 from 3-point range. He was the team's only player to crack double figures.

The Hawkeyes shot a stellar 51.5 percent in the game's opening half, while the visitors struggled to get going, shooting just 27.3 percent. Iowa held a 43-26 lead at halftime.

The Bison actually shot worse in the second half (26.5 percent), while the home team improved to 56.5 percent, pulling away by as many as 38 points late in the contest.

Iowa outscored its opponent in the paint by a staggering 32-12 margin.
