Fairfax, VA (SportsNetwork.com) - Led by a game-high 20 points from Oskar Michelsen, the Davidson Wildcats outlasted the George Mason Patriots in overtime, 80-73, in an Atlantic 10 Conference matchup at the Patriot Center.

For the Wildcats (14-4, 5-2 A-10), Tyler Kalinoski added 18 points and eight rebounds and Brian Sullivan finished with 17 points and five assists.

Marquise Moore led the Patriots (6-12, 1-5) with 18 points, while Shevon Thompson posted a double-double with 15 points and 15 rebounds and Isaiah Jackson chipped in with 11 points.

The Wildcats took a 38-31 advantage into halftime as they shot an impressive 52 percent from the field in the opening stanza, including 5-of-12 from beyond the arc. The Patriots made 44.4 percent of their field goal tries, but missed all but one of their six attempts from 3-point range. Davidson used a 9-0 run late in the half to establish its lead at the break.

George Mason chipped away at Davidson's lead in the second half, using an 8-0 run late in the period to take its first lead of the half. With the Patriots ahead 65-59 with just 21 seconds to play in regulation, the Wildcats scored the final six points to force overtime.

The Wildcats then scored the first five points of the extra session and never looked back, as they escaped with their fourth victory in the last five games.

Davidson finished with a 27-15 scoring advantage from 3-point range and also outscored the hosts at the charity stripe, 21-14.
